Berlin Impressions

Before it actually gets too late (autumn is already on its way!), I still wanted to share some summery impressions from Óskar’s and my trip to Berlin in July and August this year. So please be aware that you’re going to be stuffed with quite a lot of sunny Berlin pictures during the next few posts!

Although I have to admit that I don’t really get the Berlin hype and that this huge, crowded, eclectic city does not appear very pleasing to me in general, Óskar and I spent a wonderful time there. We had a look at mostly all touristic locations such as the Berlin wall, and went to several great museums, attended some theatre performances and took part in an art festival. Especially the last part was a splendid experience! There are so many exceptional museums for contemporary art in Berlin that it’s difficult to get hold of all of them in such a short time.
And yes, it was definitely way too hot in Berlin this summer; in this weird giant city so far away from the sea.

    Great photos!
I’m going to the Christmas Markets in Berlin next week, so will have a look at all your posts on Berlin before I go.

Lovely pics! Berlin is not everybody’s thing…glad you had a great time there though. I am actually going there tomorrow so this post just came to the right time to bring me into the Berlin city mood 😉
