Since it’s been the first days of windy autumn here in Kegnæs now, it feels good to look at some sunny summer pictures. I almost can’t believe it’s not been more than a month ago that Óskar and I spent a wonderful day at the blueberry fields. Actually, picking (and eating) blueberries is the most thrilling activity that I can think of as I simply L-O-V-E blueberries. It’s always been my favourite type of fruit (and of food in general).
I’m quite picky about different sorts of blueberries though (e.g. I don’t like wild berries), but there are several wonderful plantations in Schleswig-Holstein and around Hamburg that absolutely meet my wishes. This season, we managed to go blueberrying twice and came back with a full bucket of almost 5kg both times.
Highlight: Some berries were almost as big as cherries. Such tasty memories. x
