The last (first) days back in Göteborg had some up and downs, but today was just a perfect day! After it was a bit stressful at university this week (there’re so many deadlines approaching that tend to scare me quite much!), Óskar and I made the most of today`s gorgeous sunny weather!
First, we took the first photographs ever with my new Canon camera and 50mm lens – you can see the result here in this post. I’m deep in love with both the camera and the lens, I have to admit. Finally, we don’t have to borrow a camera anymore and don’t have to use different lenses without the beautiful bokeh effect. I look so much forward to taking more pictures in beautiful Göteborg where spring seems to be approaching at a rapid pace.
Can you see the difference in the picture’s quality – compared to my previous blog posts? I find the difference strikingly huge. (One more reason to be in love with the new camera.)
Anyway, after the photo shoot, Óskar and I rode our bicycles downtown. During winter, I almost forgot how welcoming Göteborg and it’s historical architecture can be in bright sunshine! Although our bike ride was actually scheduled to be of sporty nature, we ended up shopping (which was a really good thing). I treated myself with some minimalist jewellery at Weekday and yet another gorgeous Canada Scarf by Acne Studios.
In the end, the two of us went to our favourite restaurant downtown and got us our favourite dish, ryggbiff with incredibly good vegetables and pepper sauce. Taken as a whole: Best saturday for a long time!
