Millefleurs Dress: Handmade | Leather Jacket: Gipsy | Handbag & Belt: Vintage | Ankle Boots: Buffalo | Beanie: Handmade from Iceland
These days, I really have the feeling that time flies – and I can’t stop it. Days tend to end before I’ve even realised that I got up and started to work. At least time-wise, the days have become longer because of the switch to summer time last weekend. I love long sunny evenings and look very much forward to those serene endless summer nights when the sun doesn’t set at all.
My boyfriend Óskar went to Stockholm today, which means that I’m on my own at home, trying to focus on work (but the mission hasn’t been accomplished yet). I’m quite good at procrastinating.
Apropos of procrastinating: There’s mid-season sale at Weekday at the moment. Since Weekday is a place with a great assortment of clothing in general and jeans in particular – both for female and male customers –, it’s so much fun to go there together with Óskar. The girl’s and boy’s sections are spatially close to each other, at times even connected and mixed up, so that we can take our pick at one go and enter the fitting room jointly. I don’t tell a secret by saying that we’ve been the long-lasting last customers for three days in a row at shop closing time by now.
My look today, however, includes several pieces that I’ve owned and loved for a long time. I already told you about the black leather jacket another time that I got it as a gift for about ten years ago. It’s actually the ‘oldest’ active component of my wardrobe, and I still adore it. (I’m surprised that I still fit in although it’s become a skin-tight fit).
The hippiesque millefleurs dress which I got myself about seven years ago is a unqiue piece since it’s handmade. Although I’ve not been wearing it for quite a while, it’s one of my all-time favourite pieces which I occasionally take out of my closet when I want to go for a little Bohemian touch.
