Right before Sunset
Long time no see… It’s incredible how time flies when you’re on the road.
Since last week, when Óskar and I embarked on our current journey to Iceland, I’ve somehow been in a constant (inner) rush, and didn’t notice at all that it’s actually already been a week by now! Do you know these times when everything seems so exciting and all-important that time is really getting short for sleeping, eating, well-behaving and going on the internet?
Two days ago, the big snow storm started. Therefore, we couldn’t take that many new pictures yet although I’d love to capture every single moment of our stay. It’s quite difficult to go out for a walk or to drive one’s car downtown at the moment, as all you can see is: white. All you can breathe in is: snow flakes, sometimes mingled with rain. I kind of like this severe weather since it conveys a feeling of real ‘wintertime’ – but still, I like it best, when we’re inside where it’s cozy and warm. There’s always the option left to look out of the window and to take pleasure in the spectacle from a (heated) distance.
